With ANY system there is always going to be an issue someplace or some problem on an update, but know that you will have that with any system you work with.What is refreshing with Travel Accel, is the speed at which things are fixed and how seriously a minor issue is resolved. And to top it off, it is resolved correctly. Our uptime for our reservations system is better than any other server we run in-house, and I really do not remember the last time we were down, as it has been years.The other side of the coin is security compliance, which is tested by a third party on a quarterly basis, and we atre passing every quarter. So if you are looking for data to always be on for you,but not on for the bad guys, then Travel Accel should be a serious option.

Invaluable and Powerful Tool

Overall: We especially like the fact that we are able to access Travel Accel in the cloud and that it’s security features are strong enough to meet our organizational IT requirements. Working with the TravelAccel team has been a good experience; they were very open to making improvements to serve our needs, and they are constantly upgrading the platform with valuable features.
Pros: Travel Accel has enabled our team to work collaboratively and efficiently on running a travel program for our alumni. It offers a wide variety of technical tools that help us plan, price, sell and track trips. It’s many reports help us manage our work flow and communications with travelers, while also monitoring important financial metrics. It has been very powerful in transforming the way we work and it has made us not only more effective at serving our travelers but also more productive.
Cons: There were technical challenges in the process of developing our Travel Accel instance and tailoring it to our business. Learning to use it and customizing it to our needs was also difficult, however, once we passed that hurdle, we have found it to be worth all of the effort.

Travel Accel is the premier Tour Operator software reservation solution

Overall: We started with Travel Accel in 2010 and and since that time we have been very pleased. If there is ever a glitch, it’s itrack software allows us to report the issue, and the Travel Accel team responds quickly…often within 24 hours. In my dealings with other tour operators, I think most will agree that Travel Accel is the premier solution for tour operators. I also think their pricing structure is very fair. We are pleased!
Pros: We have asked Travel Accel over the years for customized solutions, and they team at Travel Accel never balks at what we need. To give an example, all of our accounting is done by tour end date. Travel Accel adapted the reporting that we need to accommodate that need. That’s just one of many examples where they have been willing to work with us.
Cons: I can’t comment as much on the marketing side as we use a different data base solution, but from the Reservations side, and for the operations reports we need, Travel Accel fits the bill.
Reasons for Switching to Travel Accel: Our previous system was becoming extinct.
